For regulated freight forwarding activities in Bangladesh, the business should obtain the applicable Customs freight forwarding license and comply with the conditions imposed by the licensing authority and other relevant regulators.
Bangladesh Customs currently publishes a dedicated “Freight Forwarding Licensing Application” form.

Name of the person authorized to sign documents after the license is granted.
Educational Qualification
Educational qualification of the applicant as required in the official form.
Income Tax & VAT
Income Tax and VAT registration numbers and related supporting information.
Bank Information

Employee List
List of employees engaged by the organization, where applicable.
Previous Application History
Details of any previous freight forwarding license application that was rejected, including reason, date and reference.

Maintaining Your Freight Forwarder License

A licensed business should keep its trade, tax, VAT, ownership, address, bank and other regulatory information current and maintain compliance with the conditions of the license.
Renewal fees, security requirements, forms and submission deadlines may be changed through later SROs, orders or administrative instructions. Therefore, the current requirements should be confirmed with the competent Customs licensing authority before renewal.
This page intentionally does not state a fixed current license/renewal fee because the latest amount should be verified from the licensing authority or current government notification before payment.

সরকারি ফি সময়ের সঙ্গে পরিবর্তিত হতে পারে বলে এখানে নির্দিষ্ট বর্তমান লাইসেন্স বা নবায়ন ফি উল্লেখ করা হয়নি। অর্থ প্রদানের আগে বর্তমান সরকারি প্রজ্ঞাপন বা কর্তৃপক্ষের কাছ থেকে ফি নিশ্চিত করুন।
